If the information submitted during course enrollment does not match your Alabama Driver License you will receive a boater education certificate in the mail. You will need to take that boater education certificate and required documents to an ALEA Driver License Office to have the class V (Vessel) added to your Alabama Driver License. Non Residents: After completing this course, you will receive your Alabama boater education certificate in the mail from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency. Bring your boater education certificate and required documents to any Alabama driver’s license office to receive your nonresident vessel license.
